AGAPE Adult Sunday School Class

  “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”  No greater love than that which is promised in John 3:16-17 has been shown to the world.  The Agape class was originally designed to be taught over the course of one year and divided into four subjects: “The Gospel of John”; “The Miracles of Jesus”; “The Seven ‘I AM’ statements of Jesus”; and finally The “Eternity of Jesus”.

     As we approach the one year mark, we are almost half way through the Gospel of John and you may ask why.  William and I both firmly believe that this class is the Lord’s class and the class is taught as the Spirit leads.  Time is taken to read every verse of every chapter with each chapter being discussed in detail to gain a deeper understanding of why John wrote his Gospel and to gain a deeper knowledge of God’s wonderful and beautiful Word.  Because we are an interactive class where everyone participates, there is a tremendous amount of discussion and questions that arise and time is taken with each.  Each and every time that a question comes up, it always beautifully fits in and helps us to understand even more what is being discussed.  On more than one occasion, the Holy Spirit has tied together the Sunday School class and the Worship Service in a wonderful way to confirm what has been studied in the class and taught from the pulpit.  The AGAPE class is pertinent to new believers as well as mature believers of all ages.  You can enter the class at any point, you will not be lost and you will be ministered to in your heart.  Our heartfelt desire is to help you grow in your understanding of His Word, His “AGAPE” love as it relates to your life, and to have a deeper relationship with the Father.  We look forward to having you with us.
